The Need:

Our manufacturing client needed a small number of high visibility vests to provide to visitors touring their busy factory site. It was essential that vests met Australian Standards, that they identified the wearer as a visitor, and that the wearer stood clearly out from other staff. It was also identified that the vests could present an opportunity highlight the client's organisation-wide safety messages. Promo & Print Co. had already completed several projects to showcase company safety values by implementing signage, posters, stickers, and wall, door and window wrapping, so our designer new exactly what to do.

The Response:

As the vests needed to clearly designate visitors, high visibility orange was selected in contrast to the factory floor high visibility yellow worn by regular staff. Custom sublimation was determined to be the best format as it presented a blank canvas that enabled all safety messages to be incorporated strikingly into the design. Sizing from S/M to 3XL was produced based on industry norms for safety vests.

The Result:

The resultant vests delivered on the client brief in full. Not only did they enable visitors to stand out, they adhered to Australian Safety Standards and also showcased strong safety messages using visual assets from the client's brand guidelines. Visitors to site are walking, talking safety ambassadors.
